Happy New Year

Just write. *I tell myself...

It's the first day of 2024 and I am finally getting some words together to formulate sentences... this blog has been a long time coming. The notion set in motion years ago. The idea coming to fruition while taking a hot shower. Getting this site together happened while on a trip in Mexico and a few days later, here I am finally getting some words together. At first I thought it would be best to get the site up. Make it pretty. But that was taking too long and I seemed to be going in circles with trying to use a template but failing to link it to the site... I may need a bit of help with that soon.

So I decided to just write.

From as far back as I can remember, I’ve always felt like I needed to write in order to get my thoughts out accurately. When I was little and I was afraid to tell my mom something, I would write her a letter and leave it on the kitchen counter for her to read. In HS, I found that writing letters to my then boyfriend or friends made it easier to approach challenges for discussion. We would thoughtfully write out our feelings and later read them to one another. This way nothing was misinterpreted or lost in translation.

My hopes for this blog is to later get to a point (when I figure it out) to read each post. Because in this day and age where people won't always want to take the time to read my epistle, my message is still able to be shared.

In 2017, after a very reflective solo trip, with the help of a book by Gabrielle Bernstein, I came up with my personal mission "Guided, my faith firm and strong, I create, I am aware, I exist. It is my duty to spread light & love in whatever way I can and I have the courage and strength to do so because the universe has my back."

I have stories to tell, experiences to share, lessons I've learned and I want to share them with you. This is how I will share my light and love with you.
